Our VP Pat Meus has returned to california and can’t be vp anymore
our president Jen Vincent has had a career change and her schedule does not work out for meetings anymore
Keri will act as a meeting runner and liason for the organization until the walkabout happens and then in the meantime
in september we can come up with nominations and an election after the walkabout.

we need volunteers to help fundraiser go smoothly

boat holds max 130, we really want to sell 120 tickets
tickets are signed out by number in batches of 10. we need to sell the tickets up until 10 days in advance
we need to put down our deposit on the 10th of september and the full payment 10 days before the cruise
we need raffle and silent auction items: please donate!!!
Walkabout sun oct 21st
we’re doing artist open studios, we’ve already had a lot more communication with the artist community
leeann has been acting as our liason with the artist community and is working on a beautiful map
hopefully we’ll have a lot more artist participation
if you hear of any new artists please let Keri/Paula/Kim know so we can get them involved
taste of warren will happen as usual
it’s getting bigger and bigger and we want to make sure that we get folks down to water street as well.
trolley will happen as usual
we’d like to have a music event as well, so we’re looking for volunteers to get that rolling
where to have it? town dock? india’s patio?
we should go before the town council and ask for permission to use the facilities so the insurance covers everything
paula will call and get us on the agenda for the town council
parking – can we get free parking down at monarch? get some signs around for parking. maybe have people park at burr’s hill park
and have the trolley go all the way there.
t-shirts? are we going to try to do that again? no- we still have a lot of discover warren t-shirts we should talk to Karen about using the
image from the 04 walkabout for posters and t-shirts.
postcards to distribute at other artists walks perhaps we can also distribute In Warren
it would be great if 2nd story would lend us their mailing list and we could we can use the bella yarns mailing list as well.
last year we had bristol/warren highschool artists display at the mill, this time we’d like to try to get barrington high involved as well

Keri had hoped to put together a place where all the discover warren SWAG will live so it’s not scattered all over town. the t-shirts have been sold
at the farmers market, jen has them, so we should try to get hold of where they are living. There is room down in the DISH basement, we can store
the discover warren stuff there.
paula brought up should we have a tax id number? for purchasing. we’re thinking we need to wait until we get a bit bigger.
Betty – rhode island monthly has a holiday book that comes out if people are interested in putting in an ad she has the information.
